150Th Celebration
The Deerfield Fair is officially celebrating 150 years of traditions, memories, and community! Honoring a legacy that stretches from our very first start in 1876 all the way to 2026, we invite everyone to come together and celebrate the generations of history passed down through the years.
To mark this incredible milestone, a lineup of special anniversary events, memory preservation projects, and exclusive collectibles will be featured across the Fairgrounds:
- Thursday, October 1st at 4:00 PM: Join us for a special musical performance by the Epsom Town Band.
- Thursday & Friday Longest Married Couple Search: We are searching for the longest-married couple attending this year’s Fair.
- Sunday, October 4th: Enjoy the sounds of Never’s 2nd Regiment Band, followed by the public presentation of our longest-married couple.
- 150th Anniversary Time Capsule Project: We want you to share your family’s favorite Fair memories with us! From the memories shared, we will select a small quantity to be sealed inside our time capsule and buried for 50 years after the Fair closes this year. If your memory is chosen, we will notify you! - Exclusive Keepsakes & Apparel: Stop by the Historical Building to purchase limited-edition 150th Anniversary Ornaments or grab one of the daily, limited-quantity wooden nickels before they run out. Don’t forget to also head over to the Fair’s apparel booth to grab our limited-quantity 150th Anniversary clothing before it sells out!
